Product performance

After stitching, the platform is like a monolithic structure. As with all large structures, larger splicing systems will behave differently than individual tops.

Splicing platform technology ensures flatness between multiple tops. A mating plate is a set of precision-ground matching steels with a set of alignment pins to maintain alignment. The plates are welded to the top and bottom skins along the entire length of the splicing plate. After assembly, cover the splicing plate with stainless steel strip.

The standard material for the joint plate is steel. The non-magnetic version of the optical top is usually connected to an alloy 304 stainless steel splicing plate.

In a videowall platform configuration with multiple connectors, each connector is a matching group and the tops are not interchangeable. If you anticipate needing an additional stitching section in the future, you can use the Stitch Later option.
